Ray's 350Z

(Update 07-22-2008) New Dyno Numbers

If Ray's 350-Z was a beast before with 600whp, it is a absolute monster of a street car now.  Recently the car laid down over 860 horsepower to the wheels.  This is an unbelieveable car which is scary fast on the street or track. The fact that it laid down over 860 horsepower is not a huge feat until you take into consideration how simple and clean the car appears, also the fact that this car is driven alot. The car was built and tuned by Ray Wilson here at PF Supercars with the following parts:

Standard Greddy twin-turbo system

Haltech Platinum engine management

Pauter rods, Arias Pistons

ARP Fasteners

PFS fuel system. fuel return

PFS 4" single exit exhaust system

Spec twin-disc clutch

Ernie's RX-7
As most of you in the rotary community know, this car has transformed from a mild single turbo setup to a 735 whp beast. With many different engine combo's from street porting to full bridge dowel pinned clearanced motor, it has seen many hours of dyno time. With the PPG dogbox tranny upgrade, it was made even faster. Now, plans are to dial it in and see what et's it can pull off. This winter will possibly bring a totally new transformation of this 2 rotor powerhouse. Be on the lookout!

Update (7-22-08) Ernie's RX-7 has recently undergone new work and tuning.  Ray custom fabricated a sheet metal intake manifold and throttle body setup.  The new work and retune allowed the car to lay down an astounding 861rwhp.  Check out the dyno chart below:

Scott C's RX-7

PFS Street Ported Engine

PFS Race Intercooler

PFS Fuel System

PFS 67mm Dual Ball-Bearing Turbo Syste

At 15 pounds of boost this car pushed over 450 horsepower to the wheels.  At 22 pounds the car made 550 horsepower at the wheels.  This is a fine example of a well built RX-7.

Peter Farrell's Race Car, (Original)

This is one of the original IMSA Supercar series race cars that Peter Farrell drove.  It has since seen a little bit of rest, and is now having a facelift here at the shop. This is one of the earliest 3rd generation RX-7's imported into the United States, as well as one of the foremost examples of this company's heritage.

Phil has done a lot of interior and electronic upgrades as well, but the mods listed are the main ones. The car made 740 whp with the nitrous through the automatic. Car has some history behind it. Once was Ray wilsons Street drag car, that went 9.80 and was trapping 145mph back in 2001-2002. Since then, it had changed hands and a different build was uptaken. The car was a fun street car, and was very reliable at the high hp it was run at. It made 500 whp at 20 lbs boost on 110 octane and 610 whp at 28 lbs boost. For a regular street port on a 66mm compressor, the power output was really impressive. It had a nice powerband from 4500 rpms to 8500 rpms and response was quick for being a non ball bearing turbo. The car was sold and is currently under a new build at PFS.

The last build consisted of...
PFS street ported engine, stock 2mm seals
Electromotive TEC3R
Borg Warner 66mm extended tip turbo
4" turbo back exhaust
PFS Race SMIC
Greddy elbow
Polyurethane motor mounts
Engine torque brace
